Pokemon copycat

My brothers use to say that digimon copied off of pokemon well one of them still thinks that. I like digimon better than pokemon because digimon can say more than their name and can speak english while pokemon can only say their name.

Personally, I think Digimon rules over Pokemon and many other animes. And I have another question: Is it me, or is the Pokemon Blaziken a copy of Garudamon or what?

Yeah. We also used to have wars like that, until one day Digimon seemed to overshadow Pokemon. But the war between Digimon and Pokemon is still going on today. It's so obvious. I've recentley noticed that in the Pokemon Advanced TV series, some of the Pokemon (and their features like claws, snouts,etc.) resemble those of Digimon, which is making me think...is Pokemon growing into a Digimon copycat?
